Accelerated TMS is a modification of standard TMS that takes place in as little as five days. BrainStim Centers offers accelerated TMS for a variety of diagnosis/symptoms and has seen wonderful results in alleviating symptoms for patients who are resistant to medication or are tired of the side effects.
At most TMS centers that offer accelerated TMS, they will simply do the same treatment multiple times during the course of a day hoping to get even better results over daily treatment. We know this is suboptimal. At BrainStim Centers, our accelerated TMS is a program of intensive TMS which is highly individualized to each person’s specific brain circuitry based on precise qEEG and MRI data and can be tailored to treat a variety of symptoms.
This is a major breakthrough in TMS treatment and incredible news for anyone who has suffered from debilitating symptoms and has not responded to other treatments.

Each session is separated by a period of 45 – 50 minutes, so the sessions build upon each other.
Patients receive 10 sessions per day for 5 days, each lasting approximately 10-15 minutes, instead of one per day lasting approximately 30 – 37 minutes.
In essence, a patient receives the same “dose” of brain stimulation but in much shorter treatment sessions and over a condensed period.
The other key to this protocol is the specificity of the treatment target. At BrainStim Centers we use an MRI with the Smart Focus system to ensure precise and accurate treatment every single time.
